How do I measure my carpet?

Do not worry. We will come along and measure at a time to suit you and it's all free of charge

Do you give free estimates?

Yes we do. This is all included in our service and we are happy to quote for a range of flooring to suit your budget.

How long will it take to complete my order?

This may only take a couple of days depending on stock availability and workload. Most carpets are delivered to our premises within 48 hours, and we aim to complete orders within days.

How can I pay?

Payment is by cash, cheque or by BAC's payment, and is payable upon completion of work. Larger orders and some commercial work will require a deposit.

Will I get a selection of samples to look at?

Our mobile showroom has over 500 carpet samples and 200 vinyl samples for you to look at in the comfort in your own home. We are able to research any requirements that you particularly desire if we do not currently have them available.

Are you covered for any accidents?

All our people are fully insured for any unforeseen mishaps and we have the statutory public liability insurance too. Please note that the fitters are not covered for moving any high priced electrical items, for example televisions, computers or stereos.

Do I have to add VAT to the price?

No. The price you are quoted is the price you will pay.

We would like to reclaim VAT, are you VAT registered and can you give us a VAT receipt?

Yes, we are VAT registered and can will provide you with a VAT receipt upon completion.

Do I have to do anything prior to the fitters' arrival?

We do ask that the old floor covering be taken up and as much furniture be removed from the room as possible.

Do I have to pay extra for delivery?

No. We do not charge for delivery unlike most retailers.

Do I have to pay extra because my carpets are for my hall, stairs and landing?

We do not charge extra for this. We believe this is an unfair charge and do not agree with other carpet retailers who charge up to 40.00 for this.

Can you fit my carpets on a weekend as I work during the week?

Our fitters work on weekends but they do become very busy, so there can be a delay in getting a fitting on a weekend.

I think my floor is in a poor condition. What can I do?

When we come to estimate, we try to see the standard of the floor and will tell you if it is in a poor state. We can then advise you whether it is best to hardboard, ply board or screed the floor prior to fitting your floor covering. We will inform you the price of this service when we give you your free estimate.

I can't dispose of my old carpet, can you do it?

Yes we can, but we do have to charge for this service as we get charged to dispose this at waste sites. If you require this service please ask and we can advise you of the cost.

I would like a piece of the left overs turned into a rug. Can you do this?

Yes we can, through a local firm. This usually takes between 5 and 10 days, and then we will deliver your rug back to you at a time to suit you.

Will you cut any doors that may need easing?

No. We will take the doors off and it is down to the customer to arrange for a carpenter to ease the doors. We will try to let you know what doors may need doing when we give you an estimate.
